After a week's stay we can really recommend any type of breakfast, whether it's a full Irish breakfast or the mini Irish breakfast, even the vegetarian and vegan options are delicious. But you are not tied to the menu, personal preferences are just as well fulfilled. The room, facilities and cleanliness were as expected. And the staff is really nice and accommodating.read moreread less

The staff are friendly and the room was a renovated one to a high standard and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is substantial but not clear if it is included in the price so will update after checkout. The restaurant was not open to guests the one night we considered eating in so cannot comment.Parking is in a nearby separately managed facility. Just off Eyre Square, a two minute amble from Ceannt Station, this hotel hardly could be better located. Tired after an eventful trip by bus and rail (don't ask) from Dublin, we decided to dine at the hotel's own Queen Street gastro bar. Mary has the crusted bass and I went for the Queen Stack burger. Both were splendid and decent value too. Even more impressive was the friendliness and efficiency of Paddy and the team. The room, No 306, was spotless and comfortable and even boasted an Espresso machine. Breakfast the next morning was hearty, covering all bases from fresh croissants to a substantial fry, setting us up perfectly for an eventful day on the Aran Islands (shuttle bus to Connemara Aerodrome stops right outside the front door). Then back for a night to remember in Galway's Latin Quarter ... even on a Monday the place was buzzing. For sure, we'll be back toGalway and The Victoria. Moreread moreread less

We got here 3 hours early but we got us into our room 15 mins after we arrived and the gent on the desk offered great advice and was very helpful. We waited in the bar and got drinks and eggs Florentine for breakfast. That was the only downside. The portion was tiny but in fairness tasted great. Not good value for money. All in all the staff are great and specially our server in the restaurant. I know it's rough times for everyone in hospitality at the moment having just reopened but you're doing a great job. So much so that we ate in the second night too, but still no room left to try the chocolate brownie !Breakfast, great choice also.
Staff very pleasant especially the lovely Dervla who even captured on camera us in our "costumes " the first night, hen as a "box of crayons" and chicks as 7 individual coloured crayons!

Decor in bar/restaurant is lovely with kind of boho retro vibe. Hotel rooms are quite small. bed linen, duvet and pillows are a dream. bathroom a bit of a let down - no bath, fixture hanging off wall and I wouldn't be a fan of the opaque door that you couldn't actually close and didn't afford any privacy. It was well located within a 15 minute walk to any of the areas within the downtown area. Less to many restaurants in the area.
It was however located on a very busy street - our rooms 106 and 103 were facing the road and extremely noisy - we were moved to an inside room 210 and it was much better so keep that in mind.
The staff onsite were all very pleasant and the morning breakfast was good. There were some continental items and then hot items made to order.
