The professionalism and courtesy of the two ladies at the main hotel reception was to set the tone to follow. The cleanliness and layout if the entire foyer and restaurant and bar area was the highest standard. In particular, I was impressed by the Art Deco design of the bar area which I understand had been redesigned recently. A 1920s feel created a unique ambience. Wall designs of tropical plants and verdant growth is a cozy and interesting design feature which we discussed at length. As for the lunch itself, I was very impressed with the Cod and I had a side of Sautéed Onions. As onions are my favourite food, I was eager to taste this and I was not disappointed. They were softly done and not over cooked. My friend had the Gnocchi which was equally excellent.
