Attending a conference was was assigned to this hotel. All staff, ( Reception, Restaurant, bar and House keeping) were very attentive, helpful and polite. Rooms were very clean and if more items needed they were happy to restock. Towels were very soft and wash items best I've had. Check out time is 12, which was very helpful. Being right in town is a plus to walk around or to go for lunch or dinner. Choosing the hotel restaurant for dinner on one occasion was not disappointing.

Had a wonderful time and was especially impressed by how accommodating the staff were when the weekend of the marathon was postponed by 1 week due to the storm and the hotel adjusted my stay at no extra cost. It was such a wonderful customer service experience. Also check out at 12 is so rare now and it made for such a leisurely morning on the day I was checking out. Thank you.

My husband and I love the Victoria Hotel. Have stayed maybe 4 or 5 times. We just wouldn't consider any other place to stay in Galway. It's a peaceful place, though there's lively vibe. It's very convenient - a stones through from Eyre Square, directly behind the railway station. Great staff - friendly, polite and very helpful. Food and breakfast amazing. We feel comfortable and at home here, and plan to enjoy many more stays through the years
